Oncology Ward at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre

We were employed by Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust to carry out a complete refurbishment of The Mersey Ward at their site located in the heart of Bebington.

Within the refurbishment are 5 multi-bed wards and 8 single-bed wards each with a dedicated en-suite, containing the most up-to-date 'wave on, wave off' sanitary ware technology.

It was such an honour to work as the contractor within one of the largest networked Cancer Centres in the UK. It was a difficult task at times, but the project was completed on budget, on programme and to the highest of standard.

"As head of the design team and CA on the project, we were impressed with Armitage's professionalism and their desire to ensure that the project was delivered on time and to a high standard of finish. Both criteria were met with the standard of finish quite exemplary for the nature of the works. Armitage's site representative was always attentive and pro-active ensuring that any issues were raised timeously with solutions offered for consideration. A good project always depends on full team co-operation and this is clearly evident in the final finished project"
