Burton Manor Glasshouses

We were initially awarded the enabling works for the Grade II listed, Burton Manor Glasshouse, which, through years of neglect and dereliction had fallen into an unrecognisable state of repair.

Following the success of the enabling scheme and our intimate knowledge of the site, we were awarded the full restoration project, which was financially supported by The Heritage Lottery Fund and Liverpool 2020.

"I have no doubt that had it not been for Armitage Construction this project would not have been delivered. Lesser contractors would have walked away from the project in light of the challenging issues that plagued this project from day one. The finished result is a true testament to their hard work, talent and dedication and it is a project we call all be proud of."
