The new single storey visitor Welcome building boasts a main reception area, staff room with fitted kitchen, disabled WC and plant room. The building is full DDA compliant with a bespoke reception desk providing 3 till positions including a lowered section for disabled access. The steel frame structure was built-up with brickwork and the external walls were finished with European oak boarded cladding with marine plywood installed to the external soffit around the perimeter of the building. Works also comprised of local service alterations and mechanical and electrical installations throughout. New Scoutmoor Diamond Sawn stone was installed to the floor in the main reception area and the installation of two glazed senior screens running parallel with two auto-assisted doors were incorporated within the curtain walling. Throughout the duration of works Quarry Bank Mill remained open to the public.
"Thank you for all your great efforts in meeting the tight deadlines and for the way you interacted with the property staff and managed the site at little Moreton Hall. We are impressed with our finished project with some of the Property Managers being quite envious of our new facility."

Probably the greatest example of our traditional skills is exemplified in this sector of our work. Over 140 years of tradition and learning has gone into the product and finishes that we offer today.
The upper Garden was in very poor condition following acquisition by the National Trust. Whilst considerable work has been undertaken to restore the garden, much work remained to be done.
