Hilton House, an iconic 1960’s building, located in the centre of Manchester’s Northern Quarter has been refurbished into modern, high quality office and commercial space. This Northern Quarter landmark has been untouched since construction and was redesigned with a nod to the building’s heritage.
The project comprised the refurbishment of all 7 storeys as well as a new infill extension to the upper two floors. Key features within the building have been retained and restored, such as the breath taking staircase and parquet flooring throughout. New additions to the building have also been installed, including a floating oversized steel reception desk and iGuzzini inspired wall lighting.
Floor to ceiling windows now flood the office space with natural lighting and the ceilings have been stripped back to exposed brickwork and terracotta tiles.
The external façade comprises a mosaic tiled featured artwork which has been carefully repaired and restored enhancing the Northern Quarter’s artistic vibe.
